i loved that you started in the basement with the obscure import stuff, and some local to me builders I didn't even think were local to me.

i also loved that you had comprehensive shots of some of the bigger makers.

Very pleased to see a couple good shots of the new colors for the EBMM Old Smoothie. I am heavily considering one of those for my next purchase.

Thanks for the extensive show floor coverage. See what Pedulla brought this year if you can. They usually have a really tiny booth. Interesting that EBMM brought some of their lower end basses. Not sure if I've seen them do that before. Also please try to get a shot of Doug Johns if he's around at all this year. I missed him last year!

There were a lot more fanned fret bass than I was expecting! It seems to really be catching on.

That 5'er looks really nice! I'm assuming that's yours? If so, I'm looking forward to the NBD thread!

What the heck is going on with that 7 string fanned fret, lol. Are the frets actually rounded and bent? It really looks like they are, I don't see that effect on the 5'er (but it is a thinner neck). It also almost seems like the headstock is on a different plane than the body... The EQ knobs seem a lot more head-on than the tuning pegs do. Interesting stuff!

Does anyone know who this company is? The 7 string is making my eyes go all funny, i wanna see if i can get better photo's of it.Oh and absolutely not to knock the photo's that have been put up. Major thanks to wintremute for posting all this. The upload time alone must have been killer.

Also, when you drop by Ibanez, ask if they plan to market Thundercat's signature 6-string semi-hollow Artcore bass for retail.

Man, I was hoping they'd release a fretless Ray 35/Ray 35 CA though.. I'm in the market for a fretless, and going full EBMM is a little out of my price range right now. :-/
