Winter

At Disney FL with the family. Wandered around in short sleeves all day.

Just checked out the weather for our drive back to NC Saturday and it looks like we're driving into snow. And all I brought for cold weather was a fleece vest. Yes. I'll be staying in the truck a lot.

Growing up in ND. Temp -40 and windchill -98 what do you do? Go buy ice cream. Take the 4x4? No, drive the Mazda.

I've ridden bicycle in -35 with 30mph headwinds. Not the best riding conditions, but some days you have to get out regardless of mother nature.

I really did this stuff, no BS.

Walmart actually ran out of bread tonight, because the masses are programmed to buy bread, milk, and eggs.
I have never bought those items in preparation for a storm.

I make sure I know my flashlight has good batteries, get some beer, and voila, I'm ready!

I can never understand why people stock up on perishable items when there is an impending storm where you have a chance of losing your electricity. (And I'll save my Walmart rant for another thread! :) )
