need to make up some more speaker cables for a pa sys. what size wire do you need for what length. the longest i need is 30-35' and was hoping the 14 gage i have on hand will be ok at that length. thanks

14 gauge should be okay unless you're employing megawatts during production. I use the 13 gauge from www.partsexpress.com, 2 and 4 conductor.

Just pony up for 12 gauge and be done with it - the cost difference is not that much. I get it from cameltraders.com - or get readymade cables from audiopile.net
it is more when i all ready have about 200' of 14 on hand, if i had to buy i would buy 12, this is why i,m asking
