Wireless bass practicing

Hello, I am looking for a thing, that allows me to practice with headphones without access to electrical socket. Anyone has experience with positive grind products? It seems like it’s the only option, but maybe I am wrong. I know there’re things like fox plugs, but I am looking something with a better quality.

Salud!

I use a Nux Mighty Plug Pro, amazing little critter, very similar to the also great Fender Mustang (and other similar gizmos). GREAT for practice. You plug it to your bass and connect a pair of headphones and you can play straight away. If you pair your phone, you can use the app as metronome or drum machine, or send any song (from Spotify, Moises, YT, whatever) and play along.

Check out the Spark Neo series by Positive Grid:

I had the Boss Waza and like the Spark Neo a lot better. I had a lot of issues with interference on the Waza and that’s not an issue with the Neo. I also like the App integration better on the Neo.

1) Plug types- either that leverage your phone/ipad whatever. Irig, mighty plug pro etc. probably smallest profile. Can use apps/daw on phone/ipad.
2) any pedal or DI that works for you (like SCR-DI) if you use something like JOYO rechargeable pedal power supply. Works great, but big. Allows you to use what you gig with.
3) some of the headphones like Spark, Boss that are designed for this (no experience).

These are a great option. I bought some with points from musicians friend and they work amazing and it's a great practice tool to just throw on and start playing. Effects there if you need some, and they sound great.

I use this. Charges from USB. You can Bluetooth it to your phone to play backing tracks

I use this: BOSS Katana GO and a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO. Good sound and extremely comfortable. I had the Nux Mighty, but didn't like the app it came with. In my opinion, the BOSS sounds better, too.

I got a device some years ago called an Agile Ampkit. Size of a pack of cigarettes. One side plugs into your phone. the other side plugs into headphones and has an input for your bass. I used the device to learn my church music quietly in the house as I could play recorded music from my phone along with the bass feed. I still use it to this day though their tech support is nonexistent. Quite a cumbersome mess of cables and cords once you get the device all hooked up but it performs perfectly well.

If money's not an issue:
Got the Boss WAZA's for bass last summer- and you stand a good chance of a better than list price on eBay.

But for low volume practice sessions when I don't want to wear phones I occasionally use this which I initially got for guitar- believe me that the wireless Xivive A58 systemreally enhances the experience- and the THR5 runs on 8 AA batteries if there's no power source.

As others have said the Nux product is cool - I have that and I love that I can play along with music via my phone connected through Bluetooth.

VOX also makes one of these for bass (and several for guitar) and I have that too and they’re 1/3 the cost. It has a built in drum machine with three beats and adjustable tempo and volume, but no Bluetooth.

I use both of these a couple times a week, just depends on what your needs are - they’re both great!

Just posted this:

If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.

I have the first version or the BackBeat. Fantastic product. Didn’t know they made a second version but here it is. Don’t remember mine being that expensive though but it may have.
