Wireless system for bass guitar - what's being used?

Is any one "really" using a great wireless system for Bass in live gig situations?
I have tried a few in the past years but I have always experienced a reduction in tone and power. I'm still wanting to find a great system can anyone recommend anything specifically for bass?

I posted about a wireless kit that I bought that is surprisingly great. I thought there might have been an issue with it but I figured it out and it's been performing flawlessly ever since. TakStar WGS601, I think is the model.

line 6 G90 here. been using for guitar and bass for a few years now.
I believe any of the G series will do the job.
not one single issue with mine... except walking out of range in some large venues. I have it set to low power as I seldom need a 300 ft range. it also extends body pak xmitter battery life.

Oh, heck yeah! Battery life is greatly embellished just like gas mileage. Plug in a fresh set of Duracells and the xmitter pack reads "10:00 hrs". 6-7 hours maybe and that's with a full moon and high tide. I'm starting to wonder if the mere act of turning it on and off repeatedly shortens the life over-and-above just leaving it on during breaks.

I don't know, but I turn mine off between sets and with rechargeable 2300mAh AA's get about 6 hrs playing on them.

I get about 6 hours on a set of alkaline AA's with my Line 6 G30. Really pleased with that unit. Because the frequency range it transmits is wider than what my gear will reproduce, I get a nice high end sparkle with it that isn't there with a cord.

I use Line 6 G50, works great, sounds great, never had a problem.

I use G90 and G50 but those AA changing often is pissing me off...
So I'm looking for the Shure GLXd16 that is a pedal version or maybe the GLXD14.
But I can't see here many people with them to make some kind of review.. :/

ive used

nady (beginners wireless, but decent actually, depending on the system you get)
samson (good if you are on a budget)
sennheiser (pro all the way around)
line 6 (which was the worst i ever used)

however there really is no bass specific wireless, but the best i have used for wireless on bass was the sennheiser..

I have been using the Sennheiser EW172 G3 for three years now and have never had a problem. It also sounds great. I had a Shure wireless before that and it was terrible. Out of all wireless units under $500 Sennheiser is the only one I would recommend.

Now, if you're looking for a very cheap option this may be worth checking out. I have not tired one but basically they are the AKG wireless but Fender branded them and didn't know how to market/sell them so they sold them all to Sweetwater who is blowing them out.

+1 on the G30. Lots of use gigging...no issues. Great value and performance for the money.

Note: G50's do NOT work at the home plate area of Houston's Minute Maid Park. For that either a Sennheiser 172(?) or Shure system of the same caliber or better do work.

I have used a Samson Wireless ( the little bug type) for at least 10 years. I just this month replaced it with a new one that uses a legal freq. I never had any battery life problems, but I put in a new battery in the bug before every practice and every gig.. The base unit uses a 12v adapter.
