wiring diagram for 1956 Precision Bass

Hi Gang,

I am mildly modding my CV 50's P bass. First will be copper tape for shielding, and a new pickup w/CTS pots. While I am at it, I want to wire the thing like an original 1956. I am unable to locate a wiring diagram for a 1956 Precision.
Does anyone know of one I can access online, or have one they would share?

This is wired like a 56.

Yes.

Standard P bass wiring, same as any other.

That looks like a smarter/easier way to do the grounding/cap than illustrated on the duncan representation. Why didn't I think of that...

I prefer not to do it that way.

The thought of the pot rotating and pulling at the capacitor bugs me, even though there really is no damage.
