Wiring Diagram for Custom G&L MFD Humbucker Setup

I'm going to be wiring up a custom routed bass with two G&L MFD humbuckers (one in the bridge, one in the middle Pbass position). I'm looking for someone to help me wire up the following setup:

(1) standard volume knob
(1) standard tone knob
(1) 3-way switch to select between bridge, neck, or both pickups
(1) 3-way switch to select between series (normal series... NOT OMG mode), parallel, or single coil mode

The wiring will all be passive. And yes I have checked bassesbyleo.com, but there is not a wiring diagram that shows this type of wiring (unless I just goofed and didn't see it)

This diagram is the exact wiring, except there isn't a 3-way switch to select between series, parallel, and single coil modes

That has a treble knob and a bass knob and a G&L active preamp... not what I'm looking for

I thought a little more about your post, and I was just now editing that diagram you posted to remove the bass knob. I'll post this circuit on here to validate, but I think I'm on the right track.

Why is there a 201K resistor on the volume knob? Should I get rid of that?

Yeah, nuke that resistor!

I'd recommend using 500K Ohm pots.

Yeah, I had the treble cut pot AFTER the volume, & it should be before.
I just noticed you moved the capacitor on the treble cut pot, that won't work.

You can connect it to the top lug or the middle lug, but not the bottom lug.

I "nuked" the resistor and changed the cap to be wired to the top lug.

This is a version with the treble cut pot AFTER the volume pot.
You can't put the cap & the input on the same lug of the treble cut pot.

In this particular layout, the treble cut is more pronounced as you lower the volume.
(the cut-off frequency lowers as you lower the volume)
Some like that, some don't, it's just more interactive with the volume vs. having the treble cut pot on the Pickup side of the volume.

I'm not sure why G&L's drawing has 250K drawn on it, as my ASAT bass had 500K Ohm pots.

Is that the same way a standard pbass is wired? The treble cut after the volume pot?

It's usually on the pickup side with a single pickup bass, but on the output jack side on basses with two volume knobs.
On guitars they try to keep it on the pickup side, because they don't like the way the treble cut-off frequency drops when they lower the volume.

With 500K Ohm pots, you wouldn't notice that unless you already had the treble cut pot rolled back some.

That is actually the correct way for how you intended to do your drawing.

After some thought, I decided that I do not think I need a treble knob (since I hardly use them anyways). Removing a knob will clear up some space on my custom bass control plate and make things simpler to dial in.

Is the attached schematic the correct way to wire up two MFD humbuckers for a parallel/series/single coil switch, front/back/both pickup switch, and volume pot?

I'm not sure where the ground wire from one of the switches goes, hence the red question mark...
