wiring pickups

I am currently trying to install a set of pickups into my jazz bass. I am pretty new to bass, and this is my first time to attempt to install pickups. The wire diagram I am using is this:

I followed this diagram exactly, and I even used a multimeter to check all my joints (they all measure correctly). However, my bridge volume pot is not working. If I have the bridge pickup turned all the way up with my neck pickup all the way down, I get no noise from my pickups. If I turn my neck pickup up, they both work. Does anyone know what my problem is? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure that if you have really followed that diagram exactly, what you have described can't happen. Check your wiring again; be sure the + leads from each pup go to the center(wiper) lug of each volume pot.

Take a picture of your wiring cavity and post it. I'll help trouble shoot it.

Yeah, if you followed the diagram properly, I'm not sure how that could be happening.
Everything should be working fine.

Thanks for the help guys. The + leads are going to the center lug. I will post a pick when I go home for lunch.
