Honestly, I'm covered with the electric basses. The only bass I'd want would be a fretless acoustibass that are not in producton anymore.

I'd like to get an upright and actually learn to play it though..

How long have you got? I have hundreds of instruments, amps, and pedals saved on Reverb, Guitar Center, Sweetwater, ebay, etc.

Here are the things I'm pining for the most:

EB StingRay 4HH in dropped copper color (will alternately accept charging green)
Fender American Elite precision bass in tobacco sunburst
Rickenbacker 4003 in fireglo
Lakland Skyline 44-64 PJ in ice blue metallic
Guild Starfire II in emerald green
EB StingRay Old Smoothie in mint green

Ampeg STV-CL
Ampeg 810 cab
Ampeg V-4B
Ampeg 212AV cab
Ampeg B-15N

It should only take me about 20 years of saving to get all that. And that doesn't even cover my lust for other non-bass instruments.

The Ken Smith BSR's are great. If I would have to sell all my basses and wasn't allowed to buy Pedulla or F-Bass anymore, I would be perfectly happy with a Ken Smith BSR. Soundwise it's very close to my Thunderbass, so I don't feel the need.

I have very little left on my list, but a trans orange Musicman would be nice.

Bass-wise? I've been at a shop in Nashville twice now, and it has Garry Tallent's old Roscoe fretless bass in it. I've played on it and it's officially on my wish list.

Or a new Roscoe fretless. haha

That said, I think I'll be in weirdo heaven if I ever get my hands on a Bongo 6 in the oddest color they can possibly invent. Much as I enjoy small-scale custom work, those are just unconscionably spacey.

I've got all the basses I need, though I do have some desire for a fretless Mustang. Beyond that, I'd like an Amoeg B-15, and then maybe an Audient Sono for easy recording (Sono would be the cheapest and easiest to get, so the most likely of the three).

Otherwise, I want a practice room/studio outbuilding on my property (wife's already agreed, but the project looks expensive and daunting, especially once you start getting into specialty HVAC ducting and such. Oh man) and, most of all, healthier ears and knee so I can get back to playing drums (which was the main impetus for the outbuilding studio in the first place)
