With or without pickguard

I bought a pickguard for my Lakland 55-01, but before I make the permanent move of drilling holes for the screws I thought I would see which way you guys like it better.

Not sure the tort is working with that red. Unless you get a black one or some other color, I would say "without".

I'd say maybe a clear guard if you want one? I don't like the tort against that red personally.

I'd agree with others that a pickguard would look good but for sure, not that color! That color does not look good against the color of your bass at all. I think a white pearloid one would look great.
