Double Bass wizzy 12 v. ul-110

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a new cabinet for my upright. I have a besa/boogie walkabout amp, and I'm looking for the right cab. I was wondering what the benefits of the ea wizzy 12 and the ea ul-110 are.

I need something that has accurate sound and is light weight (can be carried in one hand, with my bass in the other).

I currently have an avatar 2x10 neo, and I'm just not happy with it. It seems that the 10" speakers sort of lack accurate low end detail, and it's just too big (49 lbs in a really big enclosure).

Any other reccomendations would be helpful

I have one of each. They both sound good. The Wizzy is about 29lbs (the newer version I think is a little lighter) and the UL-110 is 22lbs.

The UL-110 is lighter but is boxier and a little harder to carry due to the shape. The Wizzy is the opposite but heavier.

The Wizzy is probably a louder cab since it's 4 ohms and very efficient. I think it is a fuller sound than the UL-110.

You should see if you can try them out somewhere.

I like them both though.
