Well, as you can see above my memory isn’t as good as it used to be. But I guarantee you these TB-ers had a Dean 6 string bass.

As I recall shaggai did not care for the string spacing as it was too tight for him.

Yep, pretty much right. Although I do use a pick more often than I used to, it is bearable - I just practiced on it yesterday. At the time I bought it, I primarily used fingers and found it really tight for me, especially being used to 4-stringers. If you did want one, I'd try it out first assuming you can find one locally to see if you like the spacing.
For the price Dean is a great choice. I gave it away to a friend who really appreciated it and loved its passive tone. Had it stayed with me and I wanted to still use it I would have changed the pickups and preamp out to an active EMG setup. However, the stock passive electronics were more than fine. I did have to replace the bridge as the original started to bend up at the tail, but it was a cheap part. For being a 35” scale you you have to wrestle with it a bit to stay on intonation, but I managed just fine.
