Wolf basses?

I bought one in Feburary. Don't have much time on her yet... 7 string bass bought on EBay active 18 volt, wood is beautiful, neck was good, good fret work, setup was good, hardware is fare could be better, I am sure I will upgrade the electronics because they are on the cheap side I like the Wolf Bass it was A good deal even if I have to just change the electronics it still seems like a good bass for the money...

That's what I'm thinking.

?

They're cheap imports. They make guitars for others and dealers as well as selling direct. Somebody made a thread about one a little while back inquiring why it did not have a serial number. If I remember right the fellow said it was alright but I would expect you get what you pay for.
Yea that may be why the guy didn't want to tell me anything about it. I asked the string spacing and he told me to make an offer or move on, I moved on. Not dealing with people who can't do a simple thing as measure it for me. Now I'm glad I didn't make the deal.

What's the word on these basses? In thinking of snagging one off the net, are they active? Are the electronics good? The seller dosen't have to much Info on it at all.
Well gee dude!
Did you not know that I am the one to go to for info on Wolf basses?Snapshot_2015524 (2).jpg I bought one last November.
Go to my thread.Wolf,Woodo,HK and Raven West (KHL.Co.)Basses. | TalkBass.com
It will tell you most everything that I've done regarding my Wolf WTHB-7W

Yes.They are relatively inexpensive. But not CHEAP!
Mine is also a NAMM show demo bass.
I'm in the process of upgrading the pickups, hardware(I like gold) and electronics.
They are just as good as many basses out there.Although a bit heavy!

If you go to my profile you'll see that I've posted enough info about this bass and the company that makes them (KHL.Co)over the last 9 months.

playing one in my profile pic. great bass- originally a backup for my old-soul Fodera, but it now gets maybe half the gigs. i use it on a lot of chamber-music and jammie-band stuff.

bought a 7 on ebay a few years back before they doubled in price, one of those "NAMM Show Special" deals..
converted it to a wide 6 (20mm).
new hipshot A counter-sunk bridge, new pre, same pups, new frets, brass nut,
all with great care by 2 of NYC's best luthier cats. i'm gonna add a varitone eventually.

So?What's the verdict?
I'm not going to be buying that bass, the sell at was really sketchy and wouldn't give me any pictures or tell me anything about the bass. He wanted me to decide if I was going to buy it in 30 minitues because he apperentley had another seller lined up, but the bass is still up for sale. He wouldn't give me the case that came with the bass and wanted an extra $60 for shipping, on top of the regular shipping fee. And extra $60 for for him to ship it without a case. Something was off with this guy and I'm noting going to deal with somone like that.

That must be All In One Guitars on Ebay.I bought mine through OC Guitars on Ebay last year.
Not knowing anything about it.Just took a chance.

I don't know much about All In One Guitars.
That's too bad though. The basses are just fine.
Can you post a link and pic of the bass?

That was the guy! He's got scetchy written all over him. I'm sure the basses are fine, but I'm going to save up my scratch for something that's as good/ better than the fender p bass I play now. It will take a while but before the years over I will have a six string bass, no compromise.

I love the wolf but, my heart belongs to a Warwick 6 Thumb BO that I also have. It is an awesome bass and tone is no comparison. The Warwick sings forever. Kind of on the high price side though. My first 6 string bass was a Spector 6 Legend. Very reasonable price good quality and great sound...

Whats your budget? Id start saving $1500-$2300. You can get Japanese 6 strings that are impeccable at that price and would cost easily 4-6k if US made.
