TBH I think the Mammoth sounds pretty good with a Boss buffer infront of it (most recently mine had an LS-2 right before it). It gets a bit middy and nasal but the pedal sounds like that anyway when you crank the Pinch knob up.
Hi!
I used to have the Mammoth first in line, but now it's looped in a Boss LS-2. I still haven't tried it out, but how did it work for you?
No. Not so. The signal passes through active circuitry, therefore it is buffered. Whether that mode "sounds more true" to him, maybe so--but that unfortunately has no bearing on the Mammoth problem.A friend of mine told me that he runs his TU-2 in the stream mode. Such that, by having the tuner activated it is more in a sense, 'true' bypassed. Yes, no?
