Working on a Classic Rock Medley

Hello everyone, im new here (and to be honest i don't know if this is in the right forum...) But ive been playing in a Texas country band for almost a year now, we do a pretty split set of half covers/half originals, but I would really like to do a classic rock medley in the middle of our set. Anyone have any good ideas for songs? Anyone know of a good medley that has been done I could check out?

I wish we did have a keys player, but its just electric guitar, acoustic, bass, drums, vocals and backup vocals....

I had a crazy idea that Sweet Emotion into Frankenstien by Edgar Winter group into Mississippi Queen would be cool. Any other ideas?

Hmm... that medley might not blend well with a Country setlist...

I've had good luck with Santana, Skynyrd or ZZ Top medleys for southern rock/country shows.

I saw a band last night do the Sweet Home/Werewolves/All Summer Long thing... it was "meh"... could've been better with a more dynamic singer but the same three-chord prog really started getting old....
