TBH, with a board that small and svelte your easiest option is to power all the pedals from a standard power supply unit via the TU-3.

9v power supply unit (e.g. a standard Boss 9v PSU wall-wart or similar) into the "in" socket and then a daisy chain cable out from the "out" socket into each of the pedals. I did this for years with a small number of pedals without any problems at all. None of the pedals you've got are heavy drawing ones and if you go for a standard (transistor not valve) OD like one of the Boss ones, the EHX Soul Food, MXR etc then it should work perfectly.

My set up before I did a proper pedal board was (sometimes a Lehle 3@1 switcher pedal)-TU2-Boss Chorus-Morley Dual Bass Wah-Tech 21 VTDI. Yours isn't going to be more draw than that. So no need to run through batteries.

If you do want a proper board mounted PSU in the longer term you can work towards that at leisure!

I've been running a bit more lean lately and it has served me well. I tried to go with just a DI and a cable, but missed too many things. Also, I've tried swapping the SS and the B7K and while the difference is subtle, I am not sure which I prefer. I think two things will be true that currently aren't on this board come Sunday. First, I am putting my Polytune back on the board as the wireless tuner is just a bit too loose for my tastes and second, I think I am going to swap the 2 Darkglass pedals again. I might add a few other things too...

Thanks. So the picture of the TU-3 with wall plug and daisy chain is pretty much what the Truetone One Spot is, yes? Honestly I am so new to pedals that I hadn't even noticed that the tuner had an 'in' and an 'out' for power. Always used it on batteries and had Preamp run on phantom but with 3-4 pedals it makes sense to get a power unit of some kind. Really I got fed up of taking each pedal out of its box and packing it away, so I am glad to finally have a small board where I can just velcro them down and then leave the whole thing in the Nano case after playing !

Can't you daisy-chain power off that tuner?

Hey! Another Darkglass fan!!! I use the Super Symmetry into the Vintage Microtubes Deluxe, although I have swapped them several times, too. My head is the Darkglass M900 so I can switch in the B3K channel when I want. The VMTD is great for a bit of overdrive and vintage tone and the B3K does a really nice distortion.

I'm selling a Factotum and Wonderlove because I added an Eventide H9. GREAT SOUNDS but that thing is REALLY complicated for my little brain. I have lots more experimenting to do and no pics yet - I'm in the middle of landscaping projects and replacing the appliances in the kitchen. Not complicated but heavy and the oven alone weighs just under 200 lbs.

Thanks for the advice. So with very low draw pedals I think daisy chaining from my TU-3 will work best for now. I guess there is little difference then between picking up a generic Boss PSU and generic splitters, and getting the One Spot Combo pack? That has an 8-way splitter which seems a bit overkill for 4 pedals, but then I guess you just tape the spare ones under the board?

I daisy chain my One Spot. 4 pedals - Starting at TU-3 to Boss OC-2 to Boss bass chorus to MXR M80 DI.
Works great.

Yeah they are about the same, if you start using digital pedals though you might start having noise issues if your not running a isolated supply.

As said above they both use Lexicon algorithms (owned by the same company), where they really shine is if you set them up to be pretty dark with the lofi or tape delay on the obscura with high decays.

Here is a really good demo of them, but mostly on guitar.

Yeah I think I used 2 delays and 2 reverbs for that + trem, I turned off the second delay when I started playing single notes

Tape delay on Obscura > Trem on the MS-3 > Hall Reverb on the MS-3 > Single delay on the MS-3 > Modulated reverb on the Polara

The delay and reverb on the MS-3 are pretty plain so all the character comes from the digitech pedals

look into the After Shock from Source Audio, I love mine and you can do so much with it. Tube, fuzz, and heavy distortion.
