Pedalboards updates: small board

ST-300 > Hall of Fame > B3K v1 > Cali76 CB > Vintage Ultra > FOH / Amp
I have a Broughton Always-On HPF that will be mounted underneath, and added to the chain before the Vintage Ultra this weekend.

What are the 2 cream colored (off white?) rubber feet/stoppers directly behind the 2 black Pedaltrain front feet?

They are taller feet than the PT ones. I DO NOT understand why Pedaltrain doesn't use thicker feet to allow for under PB power supplies or pedals! I also like a little tilt. These are temporary until I can drill out the original ones and mount some rubber feet with more clearance.

Here's my recent set up - I'm LOVING IT.

Tuner > Damnation MBD-1 > Union Sub Buzz > Tender Octaver > Bellwether Delay > Nobles

The MBD-1, Sub Buzz and Noble are all new to me, but they're killer pedals. The sub buzz is a blendable fuzz and clean boost. So I have it set to just add a bit of hair to the top end of my signal. And the Noble is just all the gooey goodness this forum said it would be.

I thought so, but couldn't really tell they were taller from the angle of the pic.

I'm sure the bottom line ($) comes into it somewhere. ;)

I've always thought Pedaltrain could offer their boards (or at least the smaller ones) with easily removable feet. That way they could help the user by not having to drill out the rivets and they might be able to up their bottom line a bit with accessory sales (different sized feet, etc.). As an example, I note that they are now selling hard cases for several of their board models as separate items. Many have wanted that for years.

Non-FX related question, TL;DR: does anyone do band leading while playing bass?

Longer version of question: I'm one of three worship leaders at our church, though due to health problems it's temporarily just two of us. "Leader" basically means pick the songs, direct the band for practice, and lead that part of the service. I play both electric guitar and bass; when I lead, I have always played guitar. When I don't lead I play either bass or guitar depending on the week. I would describe myself as merely an adequate singer (and sometimes just barely so), but I sing when I lead, usually surrounded by some stronger vocalists. When I'm not leading I sing part-time, mostly for my own practice.

Anyway, this week I'm scheduled to lead and one of our other bass players (we have two part-time guys in addition to me) was scheduled but something came up that he would like to go to. I'm also the team scheduler, and a solution to this is that I could shift to bass while still leading (we also have our second guitarist scheduled for this week, which is not always the case). I'll also have one of our leaders singing to help in the singing department. Because of the holiday, we'll also have a shorter set, so I was thinking with the right songs that I could pull this off. It is something I've been wanting to try just for the heck of it. However, I hope it's not hubris; it's going to be a challenge, and I could just ask the scheduled bassist to go ahead and stick with us this week.

Anyway, if anyone does this, lead/sing while playing bass, and you have any specific tips/tricks (beyond "practice" :)) that would be helpful in a short time frame, I'm all ears...

1. How do you best mount an Eventide H9 to the board?

2. I've run out of room on my Metro - any pro's or con's on the Novo 18? With the soft case or hard case?

OK, that is actually three but, cut me some slack, I'm only on my second cup of coffee this morning!

Hope your Christmas was WONDERFUL! If my WT did the Star Wars theme, I would have to be Boba Fatt! :D

I briefly owned the Novo 18 with soft case. The board was nice, but the soft case was not...

The soft case fits extremely (too) tight, especially with taller pedals...no pocket, and minimal protection. IMHO

Sold my Novo, then purchased the Classic Jr, with tour case...awesome case...worth the additional coin (and, not super heavy)...

I am currently using the Metro 24 and was pretty sure I should bite the bullet and get the hard case - THANKS (really) for pushing me over the edge! I'm moving my rig across the country next summer and don't want to damage any pedals in the move. I'm thinking of adding a volume pedal in addition to an Mission expression pedal to the board but don't want to buy too many more pedals. Current list is:
Darkglass Super Symmetry
Darkglass VMTD
Eventide H9
Turbo Tuner
Red Witch Factotum
3Leaf Wonderlove

I'm having a great time using the H9 but may need to add midi to control it better. Pretty steep learning curve for me.
