Yep those would do it and the price is good.
To answer the question, no not too sticky, nothing a good two finger grip and twist can't wipe off. I've done it that way forever and it's not bad at all. But for that price, you might as well buy the caps.
Yeah, I know. Black would be more inconspicuous. I may just break down and buy a single dedicated power supply that can power all that I have. I think the 4x4 would do it without any issues.
Actually, I have a co-worker who has offered to 3D print some insulated caps similar to these.

Have any of you tried a Creation Music Company pedal board?

I'd never heard of them, until you posted this. The boards do look really nice...but after you add a tour case, they're pretty expensive (compared to PT's)... Like the walnut side panels!
I just received my first EBS flat cable. It worked great for connecting a side out to a top in (used an 11 inch version). I probably could have used a shorter one but I did not know how flexible the cable would be.
I upgraded to a Pedaltrain Novo 24 with hardshell case from the Metro 24 because I ran out of room. I am planning to buy a midi controller for the Eventide H9 to select different applications but am not sure which one at this point. I still have some cleanup to do once I get the mounts for the zip ties from Home Depot.
The signal path is Turbo Tuner to volume pedal to VMTD to Super Symmetry to Eventide H9 to Red Witch Factotum to 3Leaf Wonderlove to amp. The Mission pedal is used as an expression pedal for the H9.

Hey SteveC... GREAT board!!! But a quick one, the Rolls IEM thingy... how exactly does that work? We use the Aviom system - which is great - but I've now seen a lot of these Rolls boxes on (especially) worship bassist's board.
My question I guess, is can one integrate the Rolls into an existing IEM system, like the Aviom?

NICE! What is your signal chain? Also, do you go direct to the board or do you get to use an amp or is that what the Omnisim is for?
Fun to look at a board and repeatedly say "yep, I like it."

I almost always am going direct to the board. So yes, The Cab Sim is aimed at giving me some easy tonal choices to send to the board. It is so new that I'm still messing around with it. I suspect that I will dial in my my basic sound without the sim, then dial an alternate cab sound.
I have a smaller, simpler board that I can use when I don't need all the effects. I may use the OmniCabSim with that as well. I could see how that would be great on a rock gig too.
Tuner > (rotating effects depending on need) > Super Symmetry > Vintage Ultra
If I am running direct, I'll tag in the microThumpinator between the SS and VU.

So the EBS cables & an ODB-3 arrived and without thinking, I plugged in all my pedals then packed them away in the Nano bag. Then a week later I finally get to play around at home with my first ever board only to find all the 9V batts dead apart from the tuner one. I had no idea whatsoever that you do NOT leave patch cables plugged into inputs AND batteries in pedals until I googled it. Lesson learned anyway and it has made me finally order a One Spot. I'll now have fun with cable ties & taping over spare barrels. I wonder if you can get those dust cap thingies in the UK. . .
I found the ODB-3 made a horrific scratching noise with the slightest touch of the gain knob. Is that normal? Also it sounds garbage. Haven't had chance to try it in church yet due to discovering those dead batts right before practice night. I don't expect pedals to sound amazing through an 8" Ampeg practice amp but it really just sounded plain bad. I suppose I probably want a mild OD to add some grit to drive along certain songs rather than a fizzy distortion anyway. Playing Hillsong / Elevation / Bethel etc. Ones I keep looking at for this are VMT, BB-1X, WHPL, Xotic BB Pre & RC Booster, TC Spark & Mojo Mojo, VT Bass & EBS Multidrive. Any thoughts on these for worship? Or should I try & find usable settings for the ODB-3?
We moved church recently and one of the blessings of the new place is having a good PA system and good soundguys who know their way around the board. One of the downsides to it (or so I thought before the first practice) is that the bassist don't play through an amp, instead getting their sound through a JBL powered speaker / monitor behind the drummer next to where we stand. I wasn't expecting much and haven't played ampless before but the bass coming through it sounded loud, clear and full. I've come from a smaller church with very basic PA where we had to watch the volume levels all the time, to a congregation of around 250 where if the practice is anything to go by, we can let rip, something I've not been able to do for a few years! It really helps you to play confidently when you can hear yourself clearly. I feel I'll finally get the full benefits of my MXR M81 Preamp pedal now I'm going straight into the PA. For those of you who play ampless into powered speakers, what do your boards look like?

Playing direct to FOH / IEMs (actually some Sony Studio cans). My board consists of Markbass Compressore, VMT, EHX Bass Clone (chorus), Markbass Super Booster (DI). You will need to at least tape over the extra power plugs on the daisy.

Finding an OD pedal can be a difficult (rabbit hole
) purchasing journey, as the desired "tone in your head" may not be someone else's target tone...If you haven't done so, I'd recommend listening to MANY YT vids with good headphones, to get a general sense of what you prefer...and hopefully save money.
With regard to your above list of OD's, I've only had experience with the Darkglass VMT and TC Mojo Mojo...
If you're using the VMT by itself (and not stacking it with another OD pedal)...you might(?) find too much loss of low end when engaged. The Mojo Mojo is a very good value (quiet operating) pedal, which allows you to add back some low end to the tone (with the bass knob)...so it might work better in a single OD pedal situation. That said, I don't use one because...it's not the "tone in my head"...
I currently use a Damnation Audio MBD-1>Darkglass Alpha Omicron...the MBD-1 (always on OD) has plenty of thick low end, while my AOm (dialed for more top end sparkle) is engaged, when a song calls for it. MBD-1 isn't going anywhere...AOm, is always subject to change...
