You and I both. I use a midi controller to a synth module but I think that would be ideal. I may get a Novation Bass Station and see how it goes.

Behringer Poly D! I’ve used it and a sub 37, as well as a minitaur for Sunday duties. Poly D is by far the best value.

I was running on about three hours of sleep after a Saturday Night rock gig... I normally would have caught the alignment issue too.

Hey, random question. Has anyone tried the Digitech Drop pedal to lower your bass 1/2 step? Many times our singers will sing in C#, F# or Eb. I’m like if I drop the bass a half step then I could play in D, G, or E respectively which is way better for me. When I play in those gangly key signatures then my brain tells me I’m making mistakes when I am playing frets I normally don’t play. I’d rather turn my brain off so I can Worship God instead of thinking about what I’m doing, lol. Has anyone used the Drop pedal?

I haven't used that pedal but I do use the pitch shift on the HX effects for kind of the same purpose. I use it to shift the key so I can practice it in the key we are doing it in but it's playing the key of the recording. That way I'm practicing it the way we will play it. It also shows any mistakes in the chord charts quickly

I use the Drop way more for guitar, but it does work for bass. 1/2 step isn't too bad. YMMV on the tone. Try one out if you can.

I knew "we" used it but not the pros. I thought they were more of a Noble/ expensive tube DI crowd.

I thought a lot of "us" used it because of the pros?

For a long stretch the "worship combo" was Cali CB Comp + Bass MicroSynth + ToneHammer. That has evolved a bit in to some combination of Cali CB Comp and Stomp and/or Bass Micro Synth and/or Tone Hammer and/or Noble.

Personally I just like the Aguilar sound but from secular music. My favorite player is Gary Willis so I think it started there. It's the first time I see worship pro boards.

I did a personal power cord project today. I have been wanting to have a Right Angle Power cord for my side mount IEC jack, so the power cable doesn’t stick out on the side. All of the typical right angle IEC cords are molded, and of marginal quality. I have been making power cords for personal, and band use for around 20 years, using high quality components, but hadn’t really searched for a DIY right angle IEC before. Ian Allison asked if I made them, and I knew I could… IF I could find that missing link... and then I did! This one is for my Worship Team pedalboard. What do you all think?
