This sounds best to me. But I have velcro on the Nano+ topside. Would I have to remove that to drill and place the mounting screw, then replace the velcro?

I tried drilling mine but it messes with pedal placement. Pedals won't sit flat over the screws.
Velcro should be fine. If you find that it doesn't work over time, then drill. Rip off the top-velcro. Use a drill + a grinder attachment and....

nah I drill straight through Velcro and the board and pedals fit on top just fine.
It would just cause me too much anxiety, I had to drill it.

Like @SemiDriven, I have experienced the Velcro adhesive fail from a hot power supply. I use Dual Lock. It has a stronger grip that Velcro (even industrial Velcro), it has a superior adhesive to Velcro and can handle higher temperatures, and it raises your pedals higher than Velcro so you don't have to worry about screws (this would apply to the pedals up top, not the SOL).

I custom ordered an 18" pedal and accessory carry bag from them (Studio Slips) yesterday. I might finally be able to get all my stuff into a single well protected tote.
I also ran across this new pedal bag they keep in stock. Looks great, fits Nano+.

Thanks for the power supply mounting advice. I went with dual lock solution. Here is the finished board. I watched a LOT of YouTube pedal board construction videos and worked on being tidy. Pedal boards are new to me. This rig is based on the Origin Effects suggested compact bass rig. Includes lovely console direct tone or amp/cab tones, as needed.

they make great stuff that's for sure. I did really enjoy my dcx bass and cali76 combined with a tube DI. If I ever want to go back or add stuff to my board I will get them again in a heart beat!
But for now I'm really liking the consistency of the tuner, hx stomp and a nice tube DI.
I think the noble is due in February or march? I don't remember, it's been so long now.
Nice! I use a Mono board for my mini gig board. They're really well-made: one piece of aircraft-grade aluminum instead of a bunch of pieces welded together like many other brands.
They definitely make the best sounding SVT preamp. The SVT amp sim in the Stomp gets me close enough that I'd have a hard time telling them apart in a mix. I do want to try a cali76 and dcx though.
Just put the finishing touches on the latest iteration of my fly rig. It's a Pedaltrain Metro 24, which is perfect for the times I don't care to lug around my main board or am flying somewhere for a session and need to keep things fairly trim. This also doubles as the board my daughter uses while I'm giving her lessons.

I highly recommend the FTT Black Vehicle + SoloDallas Bass-X combo. Such a great edge-of-breakup tone. And the Rattler is the best sounding Rat variant I've tried (out of a dozen or so).
