I had one when it first came out and it is a great preamp. I wish it had a XLR/DI out, so for me it really isn't a substitute for a tube DI/preamp

The Noble sounds amazing both live and in the studio. However, gear gets pretty beat up while touring and I was looking for an alternative that still allowed me to add some analog saturation to compliment my Neural DSP Quad Cortex, without worrying about damaging the tubes.

The DCX really nails the job and its built like a tank.

I haven't been able to watch the video yet, but (looking at the headstock & nut) is that bass strung BEAD?

Interesting.
I have the vertical AP. It's one that I may sell to potentially fund a Moog. It's a great pedal, which is why I was keeping it. But I have too many ODs as it is. Actually, most of the stuff I'm selling is OD.
Which chorus are you using?

Did Moog release some new pedals that I am not aware of? Or are you talking a Moog synthesizer? I have contemplated picking up a Sub37 to use at church. I hate when I am told to come in on Verse 2, but the keyboard with the lame pad can come in off the start haha.

I use a Horrothia Type-One Chorus. It is by far the best chorus I have ever used. It is dead simple to use and can do stereo if you desire!

I may be doing the same thing. There is a used Subsequent 25 in a music store in Nashville. May have to take the trip.

Meh, kinda. Maybe it's anecdotal of me to say but I've had this thing for years and never needed it to have presets. Tried making a microsynth preset and purchased and downloaded other presets on the hx stomp and it's just mediocre. Tried it with the H9 and it's just meh, the source audio c4 and still gets to about 70%. The microsynth does a few things very well and there is no need for presets imho. Maybe if you play a bunch of different styles and need presets but I use the pedal for like 2 sounds. Well worth the 200$ I paid for it. Just my experience with it.

My moog sub phatty was a game changer. I don't play it very well but I don't need to. It's a total vibe change in a song and strictly playing bass just can't get there. The ability to roll in the filter during a build and hearing the room shake is just something my bass cannot do. It also allowed our team to get even further away from backing tracks. It is my synth, I bought it to learn Stevie wonder tunes but it's so much more than that. I don't think you'll regret the purchase!

Oh, sorry. I was thinking about the Sub25. I'm not aware of any new Moog pedals, but that would be amazing if they did.
I have the Horrothia One chorus as well. Very underrated pedal. I've been using the Type Two also. Another great pedal.

I am usually using an octave pedal on those intros. It works well, but the Sub would be great.

It is such a good Chorus pedal, and the guy who makes them is top notch! I have been tempted to get a Teeth for my rig, but never did since I couldnt find any good bass demos on it. Are you using it for light overdrive or fuzzy territory?
