Worship Bass Pedalboards

I am pretty much using a Boss ME50B and I think I am going to stick with it... I have gone through numerous pedals and I keep coming back to this. I found a compressor I like, the natural drive is perfect for what I need, the chorus+delay along with the volume pedal is perfect for (volume swells?!) and it has a tuner. It's also very easy to dial in something pretty easy on the fly if needed. I got very obsessive trying out different pedals and it was getting pretty exhausting. The ME50B sounds "ok" by itself but live in a band mix is where it really shines for me.

I'm a crazy person who has one on my board, I also have certain other things as well, but there is still a bunch of sounds I use it for.
What is it you like about the Octamizer you like better than the bass octave deluxe?
Well, it's not that it's a better pedal in general, but the octave tone control is key to my decision insomuch as when it's all the way anti clockwise at "7 o'clock" I get the coolest almost 'sub n dub' vibe. I love that for getting something of a keyboard bass thing going.
The MXR is an absolutely outstanding pedal and performance wise it's quite possibly the best one I've owned, but pedalboard real estate has determined that I can't have two octaves, even though I really want two
So, I got home from church practice yesterday to find a parcel waiting on my door step. Opened it up to find my new (to me) Durham Sex Drive (I know, but at least it's not a Phat Phuk!).
Got to service early, threw it on the board and dialed in a nice fat, slightly hairy, yet crisp tone that sat sooooo well in the mix! Sound guy said it sounded great.
Don't know if it will be an always-on, but it's gonna be hard to turn it off.

Mine for youth worship. I have a rackmount setup for "big church" worship.
Old Samson wireless receiver, Boss TU-3, MarkBass Compressore, MarkBass Chorus/Flanger and an Ampeg SCR-DI. I run directly into the system from the DI. I really love that Ampeg.

So after playing our church setlist this weekend, I concluded it was time to change up the board set up.
My current set up:
Ibanez SR1306 w/ Aguilar DCBs
Or Ibanez BTB685SC (favoring this one lately) to MXR Bass Comp > Markbass Supersynth > Source Audio Soundblox 2 OFD > BOSS OBD-3 > Aguilar Tone Hammer.
The worship team itself has heavy Jesus Culture influence but still lacks the musicians to fill out the full musical spectrum.
Casting Crowns, Jesus Culture, tobyMac, Third Day, and Hillsong are mine.
In keeping with that, I'm getting rid of the OFD. OFD is a tone pit. The 3 band EQ is useless (they're more like Hi MIDs, MIDs, and Low MIDs adjustments) and the pedal colors/sucks tone out of my signal even when I'm trying to only add slight dirt to the signal, it'll skim bass frequencies. I did enjoy the TS9000 patch, one of the few overdrives I've played that came through without saturation.
So my new pedalboard setup is looking like this:
Volume Pedal > EHX Bass Soul Food > BOSS OBD-3 > Markbass Supersynth > Neunaber Wet Mono Reverb > TC Electronics Mini Flashback delay > TC Electronics Mini Ditto Looper > MXR Bass Comp > Aguilar Tone Hammer
Volume Pedal is for swells in combo with the Wet Reverb and the delay which I will then try to loop with the ditto.
Anybody ever used the EHX BSF in worship? I put that and the Neunaber Wet Reverb on order. I'm hoping the BSF will give the light dirt I'm looking for. I'm really excited for the Wet Reverb. I love the sound from the clips I've heard, and the stomp-controlled trails feature appears similar to the EHX Freeze which I can see myself using.
Over the next couple of month, I'll be fleshing out this new layout as I order the pedals I'm missing.

So I got myself Boss CE-5 and BF-3 pedals. The flanger is mainly for me to play about with at home and play along to some Cure songs, but I am hoping I can use the chorus in worship. What kind of settings do you use for chorus in worship? I will have a play around with the pedal when I have chance (not for another week) but just interested in good settings for it and what type of songs you use it on etc

I believe his name is Valter Kabas? One of my fav players on YouTube. He gets a sick slap tone out of his Tobias Growler by using a light chorus effect. I think he gives pointers of his setups in his info check if it's something that'd work for you. Personally, I haven't figured out how to work a chorus effect into worship outside of using it in conjunction with delays and reverbs to help create variations of ambience, and using chorus to enhance my slap tone.
When I get my BSF, I'll try to make a recording of what it sounds like from my church rig.

I've ordered the BSF and the Wet Reverb. Tonight I'm going to order the delay pedal. I've decided to splurge a little more and get a TC Electronics Nova ND-1. All I need is a volume Pedal or just careful panning of my bass' volume knob lol

Quick question for the Aguilar Tone Hammer pedal users...
Those of you using the DI, anyone experience any strange buzzing? Like an earthing issue, but not quite?
I'm experiencing a strange noise from my DI that I don't have at home, at the studio, just church. And only since I swapped the EBS MicroBass for the ATH pedal!
Any electronics buffs out there?

Yep, I had an earth issue with mine. Buzzed when I'm touched the switches, etc. Took it to my Tech and he put a different earth set up on mine, now its quiet. The earth is a star washer set up around the input jack in the inside of the box. It relies on the plastic nut on the input to pull the washer hard enough into the metal case for good enough contact to conduct. If the paint masking in this area was off, or the nut isn't tight enough or whatever, you get a bad earth.

I get feedback noise only at church because of the stage lighting. A lot of dimmers and what not. I can get massive amounts of noise. Buts it's never been anything the ground lift couldn't eliminate.
I changed the delay I ordered from the TCE Nova ND-1 to the Source Audio Nemesis. I second guessed my choice and did more research. I was stuck between the SA Nemesis and the Boss DD-500. My deciding factor came about which had better shimmer settings.
Anybody switched preamp to the GK PLEX? I've been using the Le Bass at church FOH for a while now but am finding the amp sim quite dark. So have had thoughts about the Plex.
My issue is that
no matter what "lift" tricks I try, it's the same issue. The EBS was so quiet but the Aggy not at all.... I think I need to look under the hood!
