Aaaaaaand we're done for a while. I'm really happy with this setup. Loved the lusithand Alma after checking 20 compressors, the special cranked in Ge mode at low gain is awesome for a cranked up amp kind of feel, still liking the bit commander for EHX BMS duties and the latest addition is the Broughton HPF which is doing its thing. The HX One gives me the quality flexibility and the TH my favorite tone :)

I wanted to circle back on the passive HPF topic. I did find some options but when I reached out to the folks building them asking about the roll off hz frequency and the attenuation slope I either didn't hear back or got a "I can't help" reply.

The only dude that seemed to know what he was talking about told me that getting a steep curve like the one I was asking for would be hard to do passive. So I ended up with the Broughton 😂

My first Sunday back to serving on bass since May (we've been out of town this summer). The new Mono "Small" board assembly gets its first live use. Practiced the stomps and think I have it ready.

Playing:
Move of God, SEU Worship (new song to me). Bass Microsynth on Chorus 2 hits.
Holy Forver, Bethel. Subsonic on Chorus 2/3, Bass Microsynth Chorus 3/4.
I Believe, Charity Gail. DCX/EQ Mode throughout. No TH or drive.
Using the Dispatch Master and Volume Pedal swells on some intros/outros.
Tone Hammer feeds in to Neve RNDI.

Real nice! Two DCX for two settings or you stack those?

What do you think the Neve adds to your setup?

I use one DCX set to EQ mode with light saturation for console tones for soft verses. The other DCX is my drive pedal set to OD mode. I messed with a lot of drive pedals and decided, at least for now, to just go with the DCX for drive as it sounds good, very responsive, and is easy to dial in. I use the RNDI because the professional sound crew at my big church uses them for bass and acoustic guitar. At my smaller church plant the WL loves them. In a blind test, could I tell the difference going direct from the TH or RNDI? ...... I'm not sure.....

That makes a lot of sense, thank you.

Got to say I'm glad you're not telling me that the RNDI is a game changer because that would mean some more money "invested".

Our church is having our 100yr anniversary today with by far the biggest crowd I've ever played in front of. Total nervous wreck but in a good way. Set list:
Praise
Victory in Jesus
Leaning on the everlasting arms
Great is they faithfulness
It is well with my soul
Thank you Jesus for the blood
Goodness of God

Can't wait to see our sanctuary full to the brim and see what God has in store for today.

You'll crush it I'm sure! Thank You Jesus for the Blood is one of my all time favorite songs.
The last set I played was
Lion and the Lamb
The Joy
What a Beautiful Name
Song Special that tied in with the message.
And then ended with When the Fight Calls.

It is neat seeing the variety of setlists across the country/globe.

I've been using the SLO for years. I've tried so many other things looking for something "better" and nothing has been able to dethrone it yet. Not sure why I'm trying so hard to replace it, but nothing has done it yet.

Just the MKIII even, not the fancy new stuff.
