For you HX One users, I discovered a recent and important firmware update today. 1) Fixes the long-standing Preset naming issue and 2) Saves the on/off state in the preset. Used to be scrolling through saved presets made them live (on) as soon as selected. Now they are either on or off based on the saved state.
Consult needed.... I bought a Novation Bass Station and liking it as I learn it. I need a device to sum/mix my pedal board and the Synth. I've tried running the Synth into the stereo input on my Line 6 HX One per @Blille and while that works there is a gain drop. In my basic research I came across a Morley ABY Mix 9v device that looks promising and reasonably priced. Any user experience on this device or alternatives?
If you can't compensate with the HX One preset and are considering an A/B unit you might as well get one with XLR out. Bassbone V2 - Radial Engineering
The v1 would also work for your purpose and can be had pretty cheap used.

I had a hard time understanding the LS-2. With only a single instrument input, I didn't think it could do A+B. But, I guess you just plug the keyboard into a Loop Return and one of the modes will sum the instrument in and return in. More pedal board friendly, also, if I wanted to get this on the board. The Morely is cheaper, simpler, but way bigger.
But you'd have two inputs with your bass and synth right? It has a sum setting if you're wanting to run them at the same time.
Your complete bass signal chain into return A, synth into return B, LS-2 output to the desk/DI. Either run the LS-2 on A<>B, or A+B > bypass or whatever suits.
My issue with running in the same channel is I don't want the synth to be eq'd like my bass. High pass filtering that bass needs I definitely don't want on synth.
Yeah, I have an channel input for each. Makes it better for IEM mixing as well.
I've experimented and tried so many different ideas for my church pedalboard, which stays at my church. This is where I've landed, and I'll stick with this for the foreseeable future. I'm really enjoying it.
Some of this gear belongs to my church and some belongs to me. The Pork Loin has the JohnK tone cap & 18V mods, and it's one of the best drive sounds I've heard. The FS-5U triggers the metronome. I'm using the Mesa's DI set to post-EQ, which sounds really great in FOH.

Man I maybe need to add a Pork Loin to my board they do sound really good and I'm sure the John K mod takes it to a whole new level. Is he still doing that mod?
Yes, he'll gladly still do it for you. It was just this past year when he did mine.
The full size pork loin was my first drive pedal and I still miss it. The current pork and pickle doesn't quite have the same tone enhancement it did.
Went super simple today.
I went with a bigger board, but need to add some pedals to it. It's far from finalized (as if a board could simply be 'finalized')
. I may put the Cali76 on the top row. It's out on loan at the moment…but I don't really miss it, to be honest.I am loving the R1. Both the octave and fuzz are top notch. Same with the OD on the 66.
The volume pedal is for the Moog CV, but I didn't have the bass synth hooked up. The R1 covered the few sections where synth was needed. I am really happy with all the pedals on this board and they've raised the bar for future additions.
I may put a chorus on there, but I'd rather put a few other drive pedals.
These are good points. My big main church will have no problem running me two lines and DIs. At my smaller church plants, I'm wondering if I need to show up with a single line. I found a used good price Boss LS-2 on the 'verb so I have the option. Thanks for the help and assist!
I'm starting to figure out the Bass Station oscillators, envelopes, LFO's, and filters.....I was planning to use the Bass Station today, but services were canceled in my area due to ice covering all parking lots from this week's storm.
