Worship Bass Pedalboards

Ok so this is my current setup - the tone is really good with everything on (the BMS on for slow songs).

Considering what people have said about the OC-2 I’ll give it another try on the board and play around with the settings more.

We added a small amp on stage next to our feet as kind of a vibration monitor and it’s awesome.

I’ve been A/B ing the Anagram with the stomp the last couple weeks because the are some things I miss about the stomp (mostly synth stuff) but the tracking and newer amp options in the Anagram are so much better. Just haven’t quite figured out what other pedals I want to run with it.

Played at a 200 person church plant this morning using a simple board. Also used the Broughton P15 pre/DI and it impressed both me and FOH.
Used the Bass Octave Deluxe to beef up two big moments in Firm Foundation. Used the Bass Octave Deluxe + Brig for a nice synth layer on I Speak Jesus. Otherwise, pretty much straight punchy finger style Fender P bass through the B15 preamp.

My experiment trying to DIY a 9v to USB 5v converter for my pedalboard to charge my iPad didn't work.

I came across this on David Curran's (Elevation) pedalboard - Rock Stock The Bright Switch pedal:

Looks like it can power a USB light so you can see your pedalboard in the dark, and it can also power other devices via USB - looks like exactly what I need so I've ordered one. Will try it out live and see how it goes.

Some quick clips from this weekend. No post processing on bass. Just straight from console. Used the Cornerstone Imperium V2 and DCX on this one...

Isolated bass:

This is not my board, but that of Jay Szalay, host of the new podcast Worship/Bass/Coffee out of Franklin TN. I've been enjoying the episodes. He sent me pics of his worship board. I thought I'd share. This may have been put together by Puleo guitars. Pretty tidy, indeed. I've heard good things about the Lab compressor, .... and the Colourbox is cool, I enjoyed it during my Christmas preamp trials.

I want to do that so bad, but I change pedals way too often to make it that tidy.
:)
