Worship Bass Pedalboards

My pedalboard this Sunday morning at church service. I did use the OC-2 for the ending of one of the slow songs. Worked.
I love doing that. Ending a song on the 1 or the 4 with an octaver then fading out.
Just Anagram into RNDI and mini brute synth. The Anagram has been growing on me quite a bit lately now I’ve got it dialed in.
I played the whole day with my compressor turned off. Sounded fine to me. Had sustain for days…

I'm guessing FOH may add some. And yeah, I thought my sustain may have been greater without compression. My Roscoe Century 5 goes forever.
So no reliability issues?
I've been watching from the sidelines as I've read too many stories of the Anagram freezing or locking up during use.
This sounds great. Any chance you could post a pic of your settings for the Big Booty Judy and Micro Synth?
I have been using a Stomp for a while. I purchased presets. It's paid for. No knobs to get bumped. I ordered a Pinstripe MISO to kind of keep me grounded. I don't use a lot of what he Stomp has, but I get a nice sound, it's small gives me options down the road if I want. Trying to be happy with what i have and quite the tone chasing. Focus on playing. Stomo. Roscoe basses. Genzler amps. I have no excuse to not sound good...other than my own lack of skill/practice.
Ok, I reorganised my pedalboard.
Basically, the sequence is:
Bass > Tuner > Volume > OC-2 > BMS > Cali76 > TH > BDDI > Noble > FOH
Top row: Always on - Cali76 for compression, Aguilar TH and AGS for tone shaping, Noble DI and HPF.
Bottom row: Always off, only on for effects - OC-2 (synth bass), BMS (slow songs), BDDI (overdrive as needed)
I know, I have technically got 3 preamps/ DIs on the same board lol, but it's Noble doing the DI work, the TH is for tone, and BDDI is only on for overdrive (I like its drive for this purpose).
If I could fit the Keeley Compressor Pro to the Board after the BDDI I would to use moderate the final signal, but I've run out of board space and 9V lines from the Noble.

I put a comp before the OC-2. Helps with tracking. Also, going passive and using only my neck pickup. My active pickup overloads the OC-2, makes it sound weird. But if you have no issues, please disregard.
I also have my harmonizer (HOG2) after the OC-2 so I have play harmonies with it. IDK if the BMS can do anything similar.
Sure - different sources have said different things about where the OC-2 (and BMS) should sit - I've found conflicting advice, but some people have argued that they track better before the compressor - I've tried both, and prefer the compressor after, but whichever sounds best in the end.
Anyone on here tried to replicate the classic BMS tone with a Matryoshka Synth pedal from Bananana Effects?
I just received mine today, and while there lots of sounds I won't use the there are good tones to be had from the first 3 modes. Mode 3 (distortion has a massive girthy overdriven tone with a sub octave underneath, and the control knob allows you to dial in the gain. Would sound huge in the mix. It is literally a 1/4 of the size of a BMS!
I will continue to experiment, but wondered if anyone is using one and if so, do you have any suggested settings?

It’s now been about 8 years on the worship team and I just started acquiring the components for pedalboard version 4.0, which I think is going to be the best and most advanced one yet. I've always used a board to hold a few effects, tuner, a preamp that feeds both the FOH and a Rolls PM50 for monitoring my bass and receiving the monitor feed for my in ears, and is the main driving signal for a Straight Ahead power amp into an Eich Bassboard. The amp also lives on the pedalboard. Each previous version grew in physical size, weight, and complexity. 4.0 will be the first one to reduce in size, have significantly less wiring (and I mean that in multiples), but have more tonal options available than ever before and for the foreseeable future.
I can thoroughly blame Line 6 for being the gateway drug. I’ve had the HX Effects on my board for about 5 months and I learned in that time that I don’t totally mind menu diving (within reason), presets are amazing, and combined with the rest of the chain being fully analog I had the best of both worlds.
But, what if? Ah yes, the question that piques curiosity and eventually costs you money.
After some research, board layout mapping, and finally putting my money where my brain is, I decided to take the plunge. The Anagram plunge. It's going to end up replacing nearly every component which processes signal or is an effect, and in actuality it could do it all if I gave up my tuner (for convenience sake) and compressor (which may not survive). I weighed my options between it and the Quad Cortex (full size, not the mini), and ultimately decided the Anagram will be the better fit for me because of some functionality aspects that would bug me on the QC. The community Darkglass built for presets and the slick way to try them out is also outstanding, and if I'm going to be brutally honest here it's by bass players and for bass players. There's no weeding through endless guitar based options that could work with bass instead of those that are made to work. That's not a jab at QC at all as their library for bass is massive and sounds incredible in demos, but I just don't need the rest.
Why now? Because digital technology finally caught up to what I need for my entire signal chain routing in a single compact and quickly adjustable package. At the quick change of a setting I can route the chain however I need for any scenario I currently encounter. There's no re-routing of cables or moving of physical components, just a couple taps on a screen and it's done. It's the same feeling when I finally made the jump to an X32 for my PA. Everything you need is right there. I also feel that amp and cab modeling has significantly improved and grown to where I want it all at my fingertips.
Wish me luck! This should be a fun new venture! I'll post the board after I actually get everything and assemble it. It will be nice mostly starting fresh again.

I have been using a Stomp for a while. GLXD+ to a Stomp to a (in transit) MISO line isolator/di box. I use one preset (IMA Foundation “Noble”) with 3 options - pitch shift (for an Eb bass) drive (rarely use) and chorus(again rarely used) for effects. It sounds good and it’s paid for.
I debated the QC (especially the mini) and Anagram. The Anagram is tempting as it is a bass centric device, but it’s pricy and as you can see, I barely use anything these modelers have to offer.
I’ve debated going back to individual pedals, but a compressor, pre/di and those 3 effects I rarely use would be close to $1K so I’m just staying with what I have…at least for now. I’m super happy with my basses and amp so the only GAS I have is my DI/IEM/Silent Stage rig.

Stomp is still a great unit. Check out @Abeveridgebass on YouTube, the best stomp guides and presets out there.
