Worst Injury Thread

My worst would either be the time I was lifting weights and took a fall while the weights were over my head. Cracked the back of my skull wide open.

Another bad one was when I was lifting weights. I was doing bent rows, when suddenly I felt this tearing feeling down in my right abdomin/nut area. Got an inguinal sprain that day. It's now 13 years later and I still have it, primarily because these ******* doctors here refuse to fix it. They say its not something that needs surgury. I wish to God it would happen to thier nuts and then hear what they say about surgury.

Got pinned by the head and face in a press/loading machine at work several years ago. Took 'em about 10-15 minutes to get me out. Had to partially disassemble the thing, then pick it up manually off of me. Took 50 stitches and 2 plastic surgeries to get it back together.

I just thought I was ugly before it happened!

Damn. That is a lot of stitches.

Well as if these weren't bad enough I have yet another story to add to the lot. My former gym teacher was on the beach when a local came down to the water's edge, stuck a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. Don't ask me how this happened but the guy survived. My gym teacher started first aid until the ambulance showed up. Well the paramedics passed out and they had to wait for another ambulance to arrive. The guy who shot himself turned eventually recovered despite some pretty serious facial damage.

Now THAT'S impressive! I haven't worked one like that, but I've seen them later and heard of a few others. Seriously, raise your hand if Ew. *raises hand*
