Worst Quality Major Bass Brand

All the threads I've found are always "THE BEST BASS BRAND", so why not spice it up a bit to only cover the worst. (NOTE: please keep to MAJOR BRANDS so not to fill this thread with odd brands from the '70's that I and 80% of TB has never heard off.)

Not a fan of Fender. They've reused, recycled, and abused the P and Jazz design to no end. Not that they don't sound okay, I just hate them.

That doesn't make them poor quality, though. Also, go check out their new lineup for this year. It ain't just P & J.

Going by what I've played in shops lately if go Gibson. Fender was disappointing me for awhile but they have stepped it up.

I didn't mean to call them poor quality, because they usually aren't, it's just they haven't changed much at all over time aesthetically.

I think I will look at the new ones, thanks for suggesting it.

Oh, I don't know. I wouldn't take bets on how soon, or if, the thread will be closed. I've seen some nasty gear-bashing threads go for many pages lately. I especially like the ones where death wishes get cast upon the CEO's. Makes for a classy environment.

I've heard of a Ric. peelin like an onion and played a Gibson EB & as a Gibson Owner, I was bitterly disapointed. cheaply put together very light and had shoddy construction & no balls.
