I know this isn't a bass, but this has GOT to be the worst relic job I've ever seen. There should be a law against doing this to such a beautiful instrument.

Well, at one time it probably was.LOL. Condition is listed as "excellent".
At one time I was offered a straight trade for a brand new $1,500 Fender Stratocaster but turned it down!
Maybe he waxed it?From the ad: "I personally did the relic and is not a Fender Custom Shop!"
Yeah, dude, we can see that. In no universe anywhere would an instrument naturally become distressed like that, with sharp edges where the paint is missing. What did he do, stick a super glue-backed board on the finish and and rip off huge chunks?
