Would a GK 700RBII fit in a 2 space shallow rack case?

I currently have my amp head in a regular size 4 space SKB rack case and want to get a smaller shallow case. I know the GK 700RBII takes up 2 rack spaces and will fit it a 2 space shallow SKB case, but will it not have enough space to properly vent because it vents out the top back? Anyone use that small of a case with their GK head, or should I get a 3 space for the extra venting room? Thanks for any help. The amp will be the only thing in the case.

Forget it, I found out the answer. Need 1 rack space above for ventilation.

I have a 700 rbII in a wooden Pearson two space,
i cut an opening over the fan, attached screen mesh,
and the back is left open, i run it 4-5 hrs per gig with no problems..

Don't think this would work with an SKB due to stuctural
rigidity..

Not really, I had a 1001RB-II in a 2-space SKB shallow rack and it was fine. There's actually enough room above it to breathe properly in that particular rack.
