The new Hartke HD112 is switchable, 4 or 8 ohms. I hope it works cuz I just ordered one from Sweetwater. The guy said it works flawlessly.I would stick with a 8 ohm 1x12
And if you need more sound pressure/ volume add another matching 8 ohm 1x12
The sensitivity of the 2x8 is low and adding a 1x12 to that doesnt offer much efficiency. No need or benifit from unmatched rig.
All together a single 15 would offer the most overall sensitivity/ volume and if you added another 1x15 later it would simple crush a mismatched rig. And the tone and consistency would be better.
Either way you have a 4 ohm minimum and 250 watt amp so make the best of it and stick with 8 ohm cabs so you can add to the rig and not exceed the min load.
