Flamenco Stumming, go back and forth using your finger. Start out with one finger, then go on to two, three, etc. build accuracy and coordination with your fingers, and with flamenco strumming, I promise you'll be able to play almost anything you want. That is, if you build coordination with the left hand.

Would it be possible to play Tech Death with 2 fingers?

I think Steve uses three. Only guy I know of that used 4 to pick in that genre was ex-Atheist bassist Roger Patterson.

he uses his thumb for sweeping, and two or three fingers for plucking.
besides why not learn how to use three fingers, but use what is most comftorable. I play tech death with a pick but use all of my fingers for things such as eight finger tapping and use some slap. It is really up to you if two fingers feel comftorable than use two.
If you've only been playing with 2 for a year or so, i'd make the switch to 3.
It's worth the effort, you will be able to play very fast and very comfortably without feeling like you're over exerting yourself.

Totally possible. I just recently left a tech death band and was perfectly fine with two fingers primarily. I did utilize three fingers however for gallops. It just takes a lot of time and practice.
