Nice bass! I dig that headstock inlay. Very unique.

I'm familiar with the folks at Fountain Works in KC - I have a feeling they will be pretty pumped to see this bass!

I'd leave it as stock as possible if it were me. You could probably take two saddles out of one of these:

Hipshot bridges stick out like a sore thumb to me and don't always work on certain Gibsons although a lot of people like them, I put one on my EB4-L and couldn't get the action low enough. I currently have one on my 65 EB-3 but bought an original bar bridge for it as to me they're unsightly .

I will see what the repair shop says tomorrow but will definitely try to keep as stock as possible
