Would you play a flower Precision?

No, I don't like Precisions. :p

I can't seem to find your timelines. I'd love to see a Peter Max painted bass-could you post a pic, pretty please?

Still optimizing my timelines, and those Peter Max painting basses certainly exist in the multiverses. :hyper: They've yet to take form in this shared one .....

Closest I could google was a P-Bass w/ a Peter Max p/g. Lots of awesome gee-tars tho.

I like Peter Max, and his graphics on a Bass would be lover-ly.

Yeah sure, if it sounded OK and played well. What do these old 51 p basses sound like anyway. I cant imagine the output sound being very tight.

They sound more aggressive than a split P. Mine does at least. In terms of attack.

One of the reasons for the redesign was that the single pole piece per string pickup was blowing speakers. It had a stronger attack than the later design which has two smaller poles per string.

Of course, speakers in the 50's weren't very durable. They were basically using what we would consider guitar cabs now.
