But the one I want is the bass I learned to play on.

60's something violin bass. Black and yellow flower pattern on the body. Background one of the colors, with a flower lace pattern of the other color. I think it was actually the factory finish.

The aluminum? nut looked like it someone had filed it with a square file, intonation sucked, don't even remember if both pickups worked. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have fixed things.

Unfortunately, my brother does not remember what ever happened to it. I suspect his first wife cleaned house one day...
