Wounded Paw Blender V4 Signal Flow Question

I apologize if this has been covered here, but I couldn't find the answer when I searched the forums.
With the Blender V4, is the clean, direct signal from your bass always present letting you add 4 parallel loops to it, or do you have to use "loop A" to introduce your clean signal, leaving you with the ability to only have 3 parallel loops?

I don't think so. The in has an EQ and there is a clean blend volume. Afaik the loops are all taking a full clean signal but I only use mine as a mixer with phase control

OK, I don't actually have one, but looking at the unit the Clean knob also doubles as the volume control for Loop A; they don't appear to be different controls. Also the EQ seems to apply to just Loop A, and not Loops B, C and D? I'd imagine that because it says 'Loop A defaults to clean channel' that there isn't a clean channel if Loop A isn't acting as one.

The loops are all taking the clean input signal, but I don't think that input signal is in parallel with all 4 loops - just the 3 loops if Loop A is acting as the clean signal. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

That was the impression I was getting from the site and the manual, but I guess I was just hoping that it worked the other way lol. Either way I ordered mine and will know for sure in the next couple of days. Thank you guys for the help.
