Wow! Didn't expect to see that

Dig it! Did they throw in any Power Station too, or strictly D-D?

Strictly DD, but including some deep cuts that weren't necessarily singles. My favorite is they play the "night version" of "My Own Way."

In some future show they said they're going to play the entire Rio album in album order.

So this is a tribute band that's really into the source material.

This goes directly against the common trope that no one in the audience cares what bass you play!

I think the trope assumes no other bass players in the audience—I'm pretty sure I was the only one out there who noticed, much less cared.

Rio (the album) is just great end-to-end, and Rio (the song) is a whole lot harder than it looks. I should know - I've butchered it often enough......

Rio is a super fun song to play, but I have to disagree here… I mean, I agree that it’s hard, but I don’t think it’s harder than it looks, because the first time I really looked at it, I thought it looked hard. Did not disappoint on that score. I learned “New Religion” first as kind of a warm-up. Similar style, very cool line, but not as difficult.
