WOW!!!(Entwistle content)

You know, I've seen these 2 videos before, but they just blow me away the same each time.

I mean.....how does a person play THAT well??? It took me what seemed like forever to be able to play My Generation perfectly.
:bassist:

I'd also like the Ox's Status Graphite Buzzard.

Wayyyyy too expensive though!
:D

Still my favorite version of My Generation.

The punchy sound OX got from whatever bass was used for this recording is unlike any other I've heard on this tune.
Awesome!!

I love it -- Townsend is all going nuts, and Entwistle is all business....cool, serious look on his face. The ending is the best though....The other three are trashing stuff and Entwistle is pulling his bass away like, "don't come near me with that crap."

I actually got to shake hands with The Ox at the NAMM show in New Orleans in 1985. Although I was 27 years old I'm sure I looked like a little kid in awe of his favorite sports figure. As I recall I muttered something like "I enjoy your work, thanks for all the great music". He smiled and said "thanks, glad you enjoyed it" or something to that effect. I recall standing there as he walked away and thinking "wow". Being a lifelong Who fan, I was truly awestruck.

Long live the Ox.
