WOW! SAMSUNG buys HARMAN! (JBL, AKG, etc.)

HARMAN Audio - owner of such brands as JBL®, Harman Kardon®, Mark Levinson®, AKG®, Lexicon®, Infinity®, and Revel® is to be acquired by Samsung! Supposedly it will continue to operate independently, but there is bound to be some changes in the Pro Audio and Live Sound areas.

The biggies just keep getting bigger. I sure hope it turns out better than CBS buying Fender.

Seems like the right type of R&D department to buy out for Samsung. Something tells me their speaker quality is about to improve.
