Whoever did the so called upgrade sure did a crappy job IMHO. The whole site is a mess. Pretty disappointing.

I spent many, many hours, days, years playing that game when I was younger. I guess that would be comparable to kids these days on there Playstations and X-Box. But D&D would still beat them allHaha you’re on to me!
Well, at least there are cat emojis now.And socks...
Not to mention crabs.
Fun for hours.

I appreciate the work that the mod squad has (and continues to) put in.64No offense, but the beta testers evidently did a crappy job.
Yes. In the interest of constructive criticism, that accurately describes my experience with the new format. A little too busy and something hard to articulate increasing the cognitive load required to interact with it.Blah. I really don’t like to be negative about this kind of thing.. I’m sure the TB team put a lot of heart and thought into this, but …
Has anyone else just been completely unable to take an interest in talkbass since the change ? I’m not having errors or anything, I just open the site, look at the first page, and nothing looks like anything. It’s just a wall of text.
Like not only do I specifically detest the move towards a ‘hot now’ feed agnostic to the individual forums, but stylistically I just can’t sink my teeth into it. My brain has no interest in staying on the site and sifting through any of it.
Readers Digest was full of fake articles and copy-pasted stories lolCome to think of it, classic TalkBass felt similar to what picking up a Reader's Digest used to (which is to say good).
Like FaceBook without all the negativity.Readers Digest was full of fake articles and copy-pasted stories lol
Wrong! No 4 strings here and definitely no Ps.Someone needs to make a database of all the people who are complaining about the new look and feel, and see if its the same individuals who are stuck on a 4-string p-bass as the only real bass. I'll bet its the same exact people.
