Whoever did the so called upgrade sure did a crappy job IMHO. The whole site is a mess. Pretty disappointing.

To protect your data and keep bots from infiltrating the site?Why the need to take something that works so well and is easy to use and f**k it up escapes me.
A lot of us have been using this format for about a month in beta format, giving feedback and helping work out the bugs. It’s been interesting to watch it come together.

I mean, are you running Windows 95? When software versions go out of support, it becomes a liability to run them. If you are mad about that, I think your beef isn't with the owner of this site, it's with the way information technology works.If you say so...
I figured it was. I just reported the experience in case it was helpful.There's still a ton of data migrating. The new site will be slow until that's finished. Hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of posts, plus pictures, wikis, classifieds, etc. It's a LOT of data.
There was nothing wrong with the previous site layout. It was the best forum I’ve ever been part of for look and feel (on mobile, at least). But, with the new backend came a new front end. Hopefully it gets better.I want to know what was wrong with the previous site layout?
