Whoever did the so called upgrade sure did a crappy job IMHO. The whole site is a mess. Pretty disappointing.

I feel pretty lost and loved how the old format was. I understand this might have been necessary, but man. I can find anything.
What is the best upgrade for metal?
Will it continue to come in 3TSB and tort?

So far pretty intuitive. The bugs will eventually be worked out and certainly appreciate the large effort necessary to make this upgrade.
Just because the backend needed to change doesn’t mean the user interface needed to change so drastically.
What a beautiful mobile view! 
There's definitely some cool new reactivity stuff going on. Nice animations and more modern components all around. But man, I haven't seen a forum look this bad on mobile in a decade. I'm sure we'll all get used to it, but hopefully this mobile styling is part of the growing pains.

I definitely like the different choices on the like button as opposed to just a thumbs up or whatever it was.

I know nothing about computer technology and I don't own a computer, all I have is my phone.
These upgrades and new layouts are taking time for me to get familiar with them, but so far, nothing jumps out as an improvement, however, there's a few that jump out as a retrograde move.
Time will tell.

So disappointed! We the ones that pay for the membership and not informed about this update . Is the way to go back to the previous way it was much user friendly.
Not a fan of the layout, but I do like the comment section, seems much easier to attach files, there have been times where the old way just didn’t work the first couple times. Does this still save what you have typed as a draft?

I'll admit it's a bit jarring, but it's day one - I think we'll adjust.
I hardly think this decision was made quickly, I trust the platform works and hope that its new features give it the quality of life update that they're going for.

The angry sign is essentially a dislike. I thought we were pretty much in agreement that this is not something we want on TB.
It took decades for the old forum software to get as polished as it was, and to be fair, it also took decades for the user base to find ways to use it the way they wanted to...
Major upgrades are never easy for those doing the upgrades or for those using them.

I suppose working with a computer and using multiple systems in the telecommunications industry for the last 20+ years has kinda numbed me to such upgrades. This one seems minor to most I’ve seen. This kind of change happened at least a couple times per week and / or several times a month in the many systems I used. It will be as familiar as it was yesterday in about a week & easier to use in about the same time.

Yeah, we've been going through, discussing, and correcting issues on the Beta for a little bit. I don't care for the new site layout. But, there're some ways you can get it semi back to normal. You need to explore your filter options, and settings. You can set things to where what you want is shown, and by threads, not every individual post (like it used to be), and other things. You just have to explore your options a bit.
