Double Bass Wow!

So I recently bought a kolstein soft rosin cake. Oh my god, it makes such a difference. I switched from pops.

I have an anima d and g that always sounded scratchy with pops... Well that scratchy sound disappeared with the kolstein rosin.

If anyone's thinking of making this switch I would highly recommend it.

I'm about to go in the opposite direction. I was using Carlsson on my Velvets and found it wasn't gripping so well. Kolstein soft was a great improvement. Now with winter coming I just ordered a cake of Pops. Caveat: I'm a bow newbie and my technique sucks.
