So, I've got a few songs I've been working on, and was thinking it would be cool to publish them (maybe even sell them) someday. I was wondering though... How would I go about doing this? I know I'd have to copyright them, I know I'd probably have to do something with the ASCAP (not really sure what though), but that's about where the trail ends for me. How would I actually go about promoting, possibly selling and such? Also, would they have to be fully arranged? Or would it simply have to be chords and a melody?
Anyone have any experience in this field?
