They've posted this on other boards- from the June EHX pricelist:
XO POG2 - Advanced Algorithm version - $324

Any guesses as to what it'll be? I'm guessing it'll be like the big POG in an XO box with a +2oct option. Someone said it would have presets, but who knows if that's true.

Eeeeennnnnteresting...
Though I hope it doesn't throw the original Micro POG off of its pedestal. Resale values will plummet. :hmm:

My guess is it's got the detune features of the standard POG, maybe +1, +1 detuned, -1, +2, +2 detuned? So, five knobs?

No problemo! I'm starting to get the suspicion that this is in fact just an "XO-ized" POG in the tradition of the QTron/+, MS/BMS, and more recently the DMM. :hmm: The only thing that speaks otherwise is the "advanced algorithm" part.

For you math geeks (I'm not one, just google'd algorithm :p):
1. Are you happy with your current octaver?
Yes → Stick with current pedal
No/Don't have one
↓
2. Do you want an EHX Octaver?
No → Find another company or goto 1.
Yes
↓
3. Do you need -2, -1, dry signal, +1, +5th, +1.5, +2, +2.5, +3, +4 and filter/expression capabilities?
Yes → Buy a HOG
No
↓
4. Do you need -1, dry signal, +1, +1 detuned, +2, +2 detuned with a variable LPF?
Yes → Buy a POG
No
↓
5. Do you need -1 and +1 plus dry signal only?
Yes → Buy a Micro POG
No
↓
6. Continue to speculate about the XO POG 2 :p

On the subject of the cleanness of the sound, I find i can get a very aggressive sound out of my micro POG by changing the eq on my Stingray (or a huge, deep sound), but that really only applies if you use an active bass.

On the subject of a POG2, I am totally satisfied with my micro POG, and it does everything I need to do, yet the mere mention of the POG2 gives me instant gas. This is the sort of thing that makes me cry out bitterly into the night air.
