Nick really prefers facing in and my graphs show that I probably will as well. Flatter response with a narrow bump around 85-95hz I think. Should give it that eden sound.

"Facing in" to mean compound push/pull loading. Yes, that's how my personal gigging cabinets are configured.

I will play mine facing out long enough to really let it sink in. Then I may switch it to see.

Any questions shoot me an email or give me a call. All that is required is a stubby screwdriver with a hex head tip. The crossover wiring harness has long enough speaker wires to allow for compound push/pull loading. Run the wires through either back port.

I compound loaded last night and MUCH prefer the lows and low mids. Deeper, fuller, less of a hump between 100-250hz. I think that I prefer the uppermids and highs traditional loaded but, then again, my strings are really dead right now. Compound is the way to go with this cab, IMO.

Is it just as articulate that way down low? Deeper, fuller, sounds bloomy to me.

It is fuller but I found it as articulate down to "B". My basses sound wonderful and very punchy and full bodied . I don't miss the high mid bump at all. My eq is now flat

Hmm, Chris stated the bump was around 100-250 hz, which I consider to be low mids. Is that what you are calling high mid bump ? I actually boost around 200 hz, so maybe I would prefer the normal loading.

I would suggest push/pull. It's overall a smoother sounding box is this configuration and then add 200 hz to your taste. The beauty is in just a few minutes you can try it either way and see what best suits "you".
