bump on this theme... i recently came across a very interesting model, the owner says he bought it 8 years ago in yamaha shop, and that's BB 305 - I've been search all over for it but didn't find any slightest thing about them. it has mahogany body (very light) .

please help! thank you.

You might have a better chance of getting the information you're looking for here... it's a pretty active group, and the members are quite knowledable when it comes to the BB series.

Interesting your two 3000a are different. I have ad off white one exactly like yours. But your red one has 3 control knobs instead of 4. Also it appears you changed the pups. How did that go? Improvement or not?
