Hi,

this is my first post here, but for quite some time I've been eagerly reading through page after page filled with Justin-wisdom...

First off, I'm a huge fan! You're a true inspiration!!

So, down to business.

1. Could you please share what pup-setting you're using in this clip(P, PJ or J), and also what pedals are engaged? It sounds amazing!!! I know someone already asked pretty much the same question, but I couldn't find an answer from you.

2. Do you ever get into situations where the single-coil hum of the J-pup is a problem?

Thank you!!

Hi Kreken!

Welcome, and very nice of you to say all of that, thank you very much!

1. That is PJ through a Sans Amp GT2 which then also goes through a Sans Amp PSA1.1 for a little bit more tone shaping, then into my Aguilar rig which is a DB751 x 2 in to DB810 and DB412 cabs.

2. I don't ever use the J pickup on its own, so it's hard to say if I've ever heard hum from that pickup. With PJ selected, it's obviously fine.

Best,
JMJ

Thanks a lot, sir!

I'm test-driving a BB 2024 at the moment, and I have to say that combined with a pick and my recently aquired Darkglass b3k(which I also stumbled upon in your end of the forum... Thanks!!!) it truly rocks!! I'm having so much fun with it. It cuts through really well, is very responsive and even all across the neck. Cool!! Thanks once again for your help!
