Yamaha BB case options?

Well, I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a Yamaha BB1025X. It should be arriving late next week and I can't wait. I played one about a month ago and it had a neck that just fit my hand better than any bass I have ever played.

My major question now is what are some case options for this thing? I really want to go molded but I can't seem to find anything designed for these basses.

Does anyone that owns a BB have any personal experience/suggestions for the best case to house my new toy? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Gator makes a molded case that bass will fit in. The model number on the UPC tag on two of mine says "GC-Bass"; I presume that means Gator Case- Bass because I didn't buy them from the place that labels everything GC something.

They cost about $100 and are built like tanks. The salesman warned me not to leave it in the sun on the hood of a car because it will bow. I never do that anyway.

I've got an email out to my Yamaha rep for this info. Trying to find a hard case for every guitar and bass in our system. Yamaha doesn't have very good info and I don't see this GB20 on the most recent price sheet or any alternative for this bass. I would think any generic case without internal molding would work though. SKB 1SKB-4?

Nice! The Gator GC-Bass and the SKB 1SKB-4 are definitely what I'm looking for. Much thanks for the info. I'm looking at these two and I honestly can't really see anything that stands out that would make one better than the other. Am I missing anything or are they really just like the same thing made by two different companies?

Just chiming in to say: Aren't these basses awesome? Got myself a bb1024x lately and I love it! I feel like I have 3 basses in one - a p, a j and some "just fat" rock thing. :)

Man, I can't WAIT to get mine. I made a drastic switch in what I look for in sound and looks of a bass and the first time I played one of these it just felt and sounded "right".
