YAMAHA BB1100S

I have no experience with the newer Michael Anthony version of the BB series. But, the older 1980's BB basses are solid, passive P/J basses. As I recall the 1100 had a bolt-on neck and was considered a mid-level bass. The BB1600 I had was a bolt-on. A BB2000 I had briefly was a neck-through, and a little more upscale than the BB1600. The higher the model number, the more deluxe the bass in the old days
The only drawback of the older ones (IMO) is that they required a special tool to lock down the tuners. If you lose that tool, a small allen wrench would get the job done, but it is a pain-in-the-neck.
